The Utopian Lie

There is a brewing turmoil coming for this country. In recent days, months, and years, we have seen a push towards the elimination of any adversely perceived ideologies. The constant desire to eliminate any perception of false narrative or ideologue dogma has led to a near militaristic termination of any organization, group, or person perceived as unpalatable.
We have seen "fact-checkers" unite around their perception of truth. We see others quickly rail against the controls and methods, and still, others applaud them. There is a denunciation of all things perceptually radical. Leaving it clear, a modern-day utopian ideal of truth in all things is at the root of the current state. The issue is the truth for some is precisely the opposite for others.
The rationale of building a hate-free society is admirable and desirable, but the guise utilized is relatively void of any absolutes. This agenda's origination has a generally loose grip on any real sense of truth, thereby creating the antithesis.
This country has focused on several things over its existence. There has always been a sense of freedom of speech and belief. One could certainly argue, and correctly so, that those freedoms have been extended to some and others denied. Generally, at the very core, there has historically been a desire to allow general privileges with the understanding that there are consequential ramifications for inappropriate behaviors. One cannot expect to yell fire in a crowded space when there is no fire, without direct correlation to an impending punishment to come.
In recent days, we have seen a shift in our culture. A change in society's norms to disallow anyone that, when deemed inappropriate on whatever basis of the day, is disavowed as human or real. We shutter accounts that exist in the myopic desire to eliminate any perceptually distasteful elements of society. We shutter entire platforms that do not conform to the societal push of the moment.
In this ever-scattered world, the issues are that the norms are ever-shifting, much as foundations built on sand. We eliminate those that don't conform to the conventional thinking of the moment and remove all thought and character diversity.
The hate-filled white supremacist, the love-centered hippie, the LGBTQ, the Christian, and the atheist all have a voice in America. That is part of the creation of our Bill of Rights and the desire for man-kind as Americans. True, many will ignore and even dislike what another group might say, but the freedom is that they can say it as long as they understand there could be ramifications if others are injured or hurt.
You can hate Joe Biden, but you must allow those that support him to speak. You can hate Donald Trump, but again, you must allow those that support him to speak. That is America, and that is what we, as a country, have embraced since our existence.
There are specific issues in all of these practices. There will be those that we have a significant disagreement and argument against, but we cannot silence their voice at the risk of silencing our own. There is a sense of common good that should exist, but there must be freedom for those we disagree with to exist. Our ideals and dogma should not mitigate their existence.
There is a time for all things, and the utopian ideals we currently see will one-day shift to something completely different. Part of our freedom is found in the essential truth of scripture and reality that in all things, God is in control and His ways are better than any human-made way. And with that statement, you can choose to disagree. That is freedom and your personal choice. That is something that no matter how hard I might try to alter, you and you alone control. However, the prayer is that at this moment, the Holy Spirit is speaking His truth into your heart and spirit to unite with Him. Not so you agree with me, but that you would agree with Him.
We must realize that significant and real change does not and cannot come at silencing those with whom we disagree. Any change accomplished in that methodology is surface level and insignificant to impacting real transformative change. Real change happens at the heart level. In short, one cannot expect someone silenced to be receptive to differing thoughts and truth.
There is a significant cross-road at this moment in American History. We as Americans can continue to allow the silencing of millions with whom we may disagree, or we can realize that we must continue to fight for the rights of everyone, including those that we disagree. If you pick to allow the silencing to continue, you must realize that today, you likely seal your fate of silence to come.
The utopian lie is that we can have peace, unity, and a lack of turmoil if we can control the narrative. The lie, based on the existential that humans can handle or hold it all. The genuine truth is that humans have very little ability to be God, yet we attempt to play God in varying ways. We unite under the waves of change yet have little foundational fortitude to fulfill the desire.
The truth is - there is no utopia. There will be little peace, no comfort, and no existence of truth without the work of the Heavenly. There will be no change without the work of the divine in the heart of man.
Today, let it all go. Turn towards the hand of the creator that desires to know each of you deeply. Today you can walk out of the turmoil and into the loving arms of the one that does hold it all. Step away from the lie of utopia to the truth of the saving grace offered in the atoning work of Christ.

Are you ready to accept God's gift of Salvation now? If so, believe in what Jesus Christ did for you on the cross, repent of your sins, and commit the rest of your life to Him. This is not a ritual, just a prayerful guideline for your sincere step of faith:
"Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name, I pray, Amen."
